Raya is the ranch's guard donkey! And she is the proud owner of Betty Jo Brenemen. She was adopted from Habitat for Horses after HFH rescued her from wandering the streets. Every so often you will hear her make her donkey sounds. Some of the horses act a little concerned when they hear her braying, as if they're saying, "We think there's something wrong with that horse. It's making a terrible sound! Please help her!" We are planning to teach Raya to pull a cart, but please don't tell her! We're planning to break the news to her gradually....
